• Short synopsis: Fatal Outcome of Athletic Injuries, a dramatization of the novel of the same name by Serbian writer Milica Vučković, is a kind of autopsy of a romantic relationship, told “first-hand.” Eva, a newly divorced mother of a young boy named Mario, firmly believes in fairy-tale love. Before our eyes, Eva plunges into a fatal love affair with Viktor. A love filled with charm, warmth, misunderstandings, insecurity, mansplaining, isolation, gaslighting, and ultimately, violence. A love that will force us to question the limits of human endurance.
