Directors - 2026 edition

The Directors’ Residency is a practice-oriented laboratory for emerging theatre directors, led by Head of Studies Alia Luque. Through intensive workshops, rehearsal processes and collaborative experimentation, participants explore scenic composition, directing methodologies and the ways in which body, language, space, rhythm, sound and light shape meaning on stage. The programme also includes practical work with actors and the development of stage readings based on selected texts from the Atelier for Playwrights.
