BASTARD’S LULLABY – Jelena Krdžavac
Title
BASTARD’S LULLABY
Vanja is pregnant with her first child. As she prepares to become a mother, she finds herself surrounded by the voices, memories and rituals of the women who came before her. The lives of her foremothers echo through her own, revealing a lineage shaped by motherhood, violence, loss and silence. Bastard’s Lullaby is a story about what is inherited, what is repeated, and whether one generation can break the lullaby passed down by the ones before it.
