Biography

Lucija Klarić (1994) holds a Master’s degree in Dramaturgy from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb. Her plays have been staged at HDDU’s Days of the Youth Branch and the initiative 6 glumica traži autora at ADU, while her text Put u zaborav (The Road to Oblivion, 2015) earned a special recognition from the “Marin Držić” Award jury. She writes scripts for children’s series, including Misi Mesi (developed with HAVC support, 2017) and Slonko (HRT, 2020). A recipient of the Best Young Critic Award (2015), she has published film reviews in Ziher.hr, Kulturpunkt, and Hrvatski filmski ljetopis. As a dramaturge, she has collaborated with the Zagreb Youth Theatre (ZKM), worked on independent projects, and contributed to Vježbanje života – drugi put (Exercising Life – Second Time) at CNT Ivan pl. Zajc for Rijeka 2020 – European Capital of Culture.
