THIN GRAY LINE – Adna Dautović
Title
THIN GRAY LINE
Inspired by the recent school shootings in the former Yugoslav region, the play explores the media’s tendency to turn violence into spectacle or to further dramatize it. As perspectives and narrative threads intertwine and shift, the Author—who is writing the play—finds herself in an internal conflict and gradually becomes an unreliable reporter. In the fluid passage between documentary and drama, one truth remains unreachable: the child’s point of view.
