Two little girls set out to save the world in a cartoonish, fairytale style play, full of irony and magical realism. Through their innocent eyes, we see war and politics, blending fantasy and reality with humor, heart, and a sharp look at the grown-up world.

Biography

Daniela Gjopalaj is a writer based in Tirana, Albania. Her first play Between Us premiered in February 2025. She has attended workshops with playwright Mark Ravenhill, Pulitzer winner Gregory Pardlo, and at Divadelná and the Kosovo Theatre Showcase. She sees playwriting as an evolving craft and values workshops for dialogue and exchange.
