Open Call for the Residency Program

Organized by Sarajevo War Theatre – SARTR (BiH), Heartefact Foundation (Serbia), Ulysses Theatre (Croatia), Para Film and Theatre (Norway), and Binario Vivo (Italy), the Sarajevo Theatre Showcase (STS) – as part of the New Theatre Market (NTM) – invites applications for the Residency, an intensive five-day program for 20 emerging theater professionals from Southeast Europe.

This unique platform offers practical workshops, mentorship, and networking opportunities, aimed at empowering the next generation of regional talent through collaboration, innovation, and sustainability.

Who Can Apply?

We welcome applications from emerging producers, directors, and theater critics based in: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Slovenia.

Applicants should demonstrate early-career experience and a strong interest in international collaboration and sustainable practices in theater.

The working language of the Residency is English. Accommodation costs will be fully covered for all selected participants, while travel costs will be partially covered.
