OCTOPUS TRAP – Antonela Tošić
Title
OCTOPUS TRAP (WORK IN PROGRESS)
Octopus Trap deals with the themes of love, loss, and the emotional traumatic experiences that arise from the end of romantic relationships. The theme of a “broken heart” will be explored from a neurobiological perspective – love as a drug, and breakup as a withdrawal crisis. In this context, love becomes an addiction, and a breakup becomes a process similar to detoxification, bringing both physical and emotional turmoil. The drama delves into the deeply human need for connection and the devastating consequences of separation.
